WritingAhead Refund Policy- Your Rights and Our Commitment
We are dedicated to providing you with the best professional writing and consultation at WritingAhead. Because of the individual nature of our work, each order takes time, research and the expertise of dedicated people. To that end, our refund policy should be clear and equitable to us and our clients.
When ordering with WritingAhead, you agree to and acknowledge, the following terms.
General Refund Policy
All payments are normally non refundable after work has started, as we perform writing and consultation tasks that are personalised.
We do realise though that there can be exceptional circumstances. When this happens, a request for a refund will be examined on a case-by-case basis and based on the work that has been accomplished, the reason for the request and the circumstances surrounding the request.
Order Confirmation
Once you have:
- Confirmed your order,
- Accepted the quotation, and
- Made the initial payment,
Our experts start allocating resources, preparing your project.
At this point, if you choose to cancel the order, you might not be entitled to a refund, as administrative and professional work may have already begun.
Eligibility Assessment
Please note that clients are responsible for their eligibility for an assessment, membership or professional application before ordering.
WritingAhead will help with writing and advising, but does not assess on assessment authorities' behalf.
Failure to submit an application or assessment with accurate information or if the client is not eligible, no refunds will be provided.
Cancellation & Refund Guidelines
Before Work Has Been Assigned
Should the order be cancelled prior to assignment of a writer or consultant, you may receive a significant refund (after any applicable payment processing or administrative fees).
After a Writer Has Been Assigned
After appointment of a professional to your project, research, planning and document preparation start generally immediately.
Any cancellation made at this point will be considered at the discretion of the business and a partial refund may be given based on the work done. You can subtract administrative fees and professional fees from the refundable amount.
After Significant Work Has Been Completed
If there's been a significant amount of work done on the project, or it's in the final stages, you will probably not be able to get a refund.
This is because a significant amount of time, research, drafting, editing and quality assurance have already been put into your order.
Delivery Delays
WritingAhead is dedicated to providing all projects on time.
Sometimes it may be delayed for reasons which are rarely the following:
- Medical emergencies
- Serious illness of the assigned writer
- Technical disruptions
- Other unavoidable situations outside of our reasonable control
We will inform you of the situation as soon as possible and, depending on the situation, offer a suitable solution such as a partial refund, service credit or revised delivery schedule.
Delays Caused by Clients
Project timelines are dependent on the completeness and accuracy of information that can be provided by clients.
If delivery is delayed because:
- Required documents are submitted late,
- Important instructions are changed after work begins,
- The client fails to respond to clarification requests, or
- Necessary supporting materials are not provided,
In this case, WritingAhead will not be responsible for the delay that may ensue and no refund will be given.
To meet the deadline of your project, please submit all the necessary documents, instructions and references with your order.
